Ein kleiner Traum ist heute wahr geworden. Ein ganzes Jahr lang hatte ich während meines einjährigen Praktikums in TZ davon geträumt, here to get somewhere a halfway decent bike here and never really know what came of it. The mobile sauschwer and as heavy Chinese bicycles are hard to recommend, although this rarely sees something different.
The brakes are more screwed turn pro forma (if it was just screws) and despite the lack of gears, there is idle rather than resign. Well, and everything else was too expensive for me.
But today, finally it worked out. On my immediate question of a bicycle Clive's wife Bodil answered first, sorry, there were none. Although they had once had one, but now it is broken and no longer works.
I have therefore considered the alleged scrap heap and found that the rust Hirsch Danish origin was in almost perfect condition. A few screws and tighten air was inflated basically the whole Reparaturakt. Suuuupa!
So I am now gegast or cycle back and forth through Moshi and thus have my range quite a bit extended.
But again a short flashback:
After more than 9 hours in the bus without air, we arrived safely yesterday evening in Moshi, past mountain chains and volcanoes, endless agave fields and across desert landscapes of different species.
in Moshi itself to neither the first nor really change at a second glance much. A few shops have become larger and are a bit moved, and a whole lot of roads are not "rough roads", but thanks to America's aid program (there are in the area natural gas) mutated to asphalt roads, but in essence is all inclusive The menu at the pub Alberto, remained the same. And it is soo beautiful!
I just love this city. Zwar gibt es auch hier eine Menge Touristenfänger und selbsternannte Künstler (great artists & best friends!), die einem neben allerlei Schnitzhandwerk und maßlos überteuerten Ölmalereien gern auch die eigene Großmutter verkaufen würden, aber es ist immer noch wesentlich ruhiger als in allen anderen Metropolen, die wir bis jetzt passiert haben. Vielleicht liegt es daran, dass die Omas doch noch nicht verkauft sind und stattdessen in aller Seelenruhe ihre Nähmaschinen und sonstigen Gewerke an den Straßenrändern aufbauen und geduldig vor sich hinarbeiten, auf liebevolle Weise die Wünsche sonderbarer Kunden, zum Beispiel mir, entgegennehmen und sich leicht in ein Gespräch verwickeln . As the rainy season is far from over, shoot the flora and fauna only as to himself and everything is knallegrün. Just outside of downtown, there are super nice acacia avenues and forests without end, endless scrub and simply beautiful landscapes.
Clive, who lives here with his wife Bodil just north of the city center, since a few years ago a beautiful house for rent with huge grounds and because his wife has quite horticultural talent is here in just 4 years of a botanical paradise created, which can be seen. For Samuel and me there is a pretty Guest rooms include bath and shower, so that we here at least as well off as in all other places where we were until now a guest.

m first night in Moshi we were eating together in the "Salzburg Café," which is actually more of a steak house, where a few German and Austrian Souvenirs more or less accommodated unspectacular are. In that location are almost exactly seven years ago, my parents along with Clive and fed me and there was a photo that to this day to Clive's and my Wall hanging. We had to make another image and perhaps it is soon find the old one.
hours are Sami and I plan halfway-and stress-free getingelt through the city, exploring the market, various artist's shops and visited the old railway station of Moshi. Unfortunately there for a few years absolutely nothing going on, although the route Moshi-Dar es Salaam has ranked among the finest in the country. When I was the last time on that station, it was after all still a little freight, but the last 3 years, who had come to a standstill and a couple of empty freight cars are boring and rusting in front of him around in the area. 
now is the whole business shifted from passenger transport to freight traffic on the road and gases every day hundreds of buses and trucks in mostly at breakneck speed between Arusha and Dar es Salaam to and fro. Apparently the Tanzanian like this more than the thrill Geschunkel by rail.
By late afternoon the clouds quite unexpectedly released the summit of Kilimanjaro, so we did not have to think longer, that somewhere behind those clouds, many of the "Uhuru Peak, the summit of Kibo should be. 
Well.
For now, Samuel has a trip desired by the Arusha National Park, which is in itself a very nice idea. Since I have visited this park several times and the route by using an ordinary safari company is not cheap, I did not however, and use the time now while Sami's Safari Trip as already described for Rumtingeln, shopping, Rumkucken and relax. 
I just sit on Ashton Sofa leave me the sun shine on your feet, sip a non-Instant Coffee and think it's just schön, hier sein zu können.
Für morgen steht der Besuch der anglikanischen Kirche auf dem Plan, danach irgendwo Mittagessen und im Laufe des Nachmittages eine kleine Weltreise Richtung Leguruki. Ich bin sehr gespannt, wie alles geworden ist und habe für meinen ehemaligen Kollegen Yotam, der sich schon wie verrückt auf unsere Ankunft freut, schnell noch ein paar Bilder von damals entwickeln lassen. Hach ja.
